Shift Pilot helps office users see configured overtime risk while timecards are still reviewable. It is designed to support a company’s workweek policy and payroll-review process, not to make employment or tax determinations.
Workweek-aware overtime
Shift Pilot calculates overtime from each employee’s configured workweek. A long individual shift does not automatically become overtime unless a company has enabled a daily overtime rule. This helps prevent day-length assumptions from replacing the company’s actual policy.
Review time before payroll approval
Office users can review completed shifts, requested corrections, and timecard attention items before calculating payroll. The Labor Command Center also surfaces overtime hours and additional premium exposure as management context.
The application does not automatically change a paid period or silently alter approved payroll records. Customers remain responsible for reviewing wages, overtime rules, and payroll outputs with appropriate professionals.
Configured alerts and operational context
Growth and Pro plans include configured daily and weekly labor-alert features. Alert visibility is in-product; Shift Pilot does not promise external SMS, push, or third-party notification delivery for these alerts.
